Differential
pressure method Components as mentioned above are
generally controlled through the measurement of
differential pressure. A reference part and the
part to be examined are simultaneously subject to
identical pressure, and then the pipes are closed
by valves. The differential pressure is then
measured by a high-precision sensor.
The S320
Controller directs all required operations,
including data handling and processing
The parts are
placed under pressure, and when the pressure
change has stabilised the S320 Controller
determines any drop in pressure. Furthermore it
can isolate and change the components via
robotics.
Parameters
All the
parameters, such as thresholds of tolerance,
prescribed values, time, etc. can be introduced
into the S320 Controller through simple
programming, either directly on the device or via
a PC.
Results in the
desired unit
The results are
immediately available, in the chosen measurement
unit. The device judges the quality of the part
according to the pre-established norms and, if
necessary, informs the central unit through
numeric signals or serial interfaces.
Protocol print-out
To complete the
system, a print-out of the protocol can be
requested.
